Sherrod BrownJoin us for the presentation of the annual Max & Frieda Davis Tikkun Olam Award to Zac Ponsky, founder of Medworks followed by guest speaker, the Honorable Sherrod Brown, US Senator. Presentation will take place during Shabbat services.

Religious School

Grade 6 Students: Click here to register your student for the Count Me In community wide program on Saturday, February 11 from 4:00 - 9:00 pm at B'nai Jeshurun. This amazing (and free) program marks the culmination of your students' Count Me In curriculum and will be in place of Religious School classes on Sunday, February 12. Grade 2 Tikkun Olam Family Program: January 29th, 10:30 am at NCJW. See attached flyer. Congregants, help support this project by bringing in school supplies to the boxes located in the coat room! Thank you for your support!

 

Monday Night Student Safety: Our policy states that if students need to be picked up from class early on Monday evenings, parents must come into the classroom to get their students. However, if your student drives themselves, parental permission is required for early dismissals. If your student will be leaving early and you will not be coming into the building to pick them up, please contact me via phone call or email before the start of classes that evening. Thank you so much for your understanding as we work towards improving our procedures.

Desperately seeking a volunteer to cook on Monday, February 27 for the TEEn Kolel dinner. The kids love the food, its a rewarding experience and no experience is necessary. To volunteer, please contact Joan Levy.

 

TEE's Broadway Purimspiel will take place on Saturday, March 3 at 8:00 pm. The show will feature the talents of congregants of all ages including our very own Youth Choir. You can get in on the fun by sponsoring one of the 18 great show tunes in the Purimspiel. Your tax deductible sponsorship of $50 will be recognized in the program.

 

Calling all bakers!!  We need 3 dozen of your best cookies, brownies or hamantaschen for the dessert reception following our 2012 Purimspiel.  Your baked goods may be dropped any time between now and March 2. Please note that we are a nut free facility and that we require you to provide a list of ingredients attached to your baked goods.

 

Matzah Mitzvah: Do you hold a 1st or 2nd seder in your home? Are you willing to add a few chairs at the table to host TEE members who don't have a seder to attend? For more information or to volunteer to invite guests into your home, contact Andrea Rubin at 216/454-1210.
