Our Jewish-oriented program provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment in which your preschooler, ages 18 months through PreK, can learn to play and socialize. Personal contact with the clergy fosters a sense of Jewish identity and encourages the learning of basic Jewish traditions. The program includes the use of our private playground, a large muscle room, music and gym classes, daily art, science, math, social studies and literature activities.

Temple Emanu El’s Preschool has become a Step Up To Quality Star Rated school, meaning that our preschool exceeds Ohio’s childcare licensing standards. Our classrooms have lower staff to child ratios; all staff have specialized training and continuing education opportunities throughout the year; and our curriculum is aligned with Ohio's kindergarten readiness requirements.
The program operates weekdays, 51 weeks per year, except for specified Jewish and secular holidays, from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. We offer full, three-quarter, and half-day schedules on a daily or weekly basis to suit your family's individual needs. A kosher-style hot lunch, snacks and beverages are provided.
