The Women of Temple Emanu El encourages and sustains the highest ideals of Judaism. As a member, you will promote closer friendship among members while furthering the religious, educational, civic, philanthropic, cultural and social activities of the congregation. WOTEE is involved in a wide array of activities including sponsoring our weekly Oneg Shabbat, providing pulpit flowers and donating gifts. You may become involved in providing helpful services to our religious school students as well as college students away from home. The Women of Temple Emanu El also sponsors the Youth Group advisor and supports a variety of outstanding programming events for the entire congregation.
The Women of Temple Emanu El is a multi-generational group that brings many women together for spiritual, educational, social and fund raising events. We present a new member luncheon, guest speakers, mystery trips, torah study, book reviews, a women's minyan service, Rabbi's study series, a donor luncheon and other interesting programs on Tuesday afternoons and evenings and Sunday mornings.
You don't want to miss a trip to our Gift Shop which features beautiful and useful Judaica. The Religious School children enjoy our Chanukah Boutique. We feature a twice yearly "Nearly New Sale" and use our profits from these events and a Passover candy sale to help underwrite Temple activities.
