Introduction to the Temple Emanu El Preschool and Child Care Program
The Temple Emanu El Preschool and Child Care Program is one of the numerous programs run by Temple Emanu El. This Judaically oriented program offers a nurturing, fun-filled environment, allowing for maximum social, emotional and intellectual growth. Personalized Rabbinic contact with Rabbi Steve Denker and Cantor Laurel Barr fosters a sense of Jewish identity and encourages learning of basic Jewish traditions.
Our teaching staff is degreed, trained and experienced in Early Childhood Education. Classes are arranged according to age and personal growth and development of the individual child, to foster a positive self-concept and mastery of age-appropriate skills.
Our unique flexibility offers families with children, 18 months to five years, various options. These scheduling options are available for half days, full days or any combination thereof. With the exception of some Jewish and secular holidays, the program is in operation 52 weeks a year, 5 days per week, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Children are served a morning and afternoon snack and hot lunch.

BENEFITS OF TEMPLE MEMBERSHIP:
A most important element in developing a child's Jewish identity results from his/her parents' Temple affiliation. Temple Emanu El is a family oriented, full service Reform congregation. We are a member of the Union for Reform Judaism and an affiliate of the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland. We exist as part of world Jewry, supporting Jewish family life from birth to death, making informed choices in our daily lives based on Jewish ethics and traditions. Our family focused programs are designed to reinforce classroom activities and to give our families a forum for shared Jewish experiences, adding to the joys of child-rearing. We provide an opportunity for learning, celebrating, observing, contributing and socializing, creating a sense of community that allows us to support one another in times of joy and sorrow. We welcome your participation.
Members of Temple Emanu El may be eligible for a reduction in fees.
